The sun is bright. Warm air moves past leaves. A small dog trots inside. Small clouds drift above roofs. Light falls across loose bricks. Warm dust lines the building wall. The dust forms narrow trails. The dog pauses and sniffs.

The dog steps toward grass. It reaches a bent root. The root blocks lower view. The dog climbs loose stone. Stone lifts the dog higher. A rare smear glows nearby. The smear curls like ribbon. Pale paw prints dampen ground. Few birds visit the fence. After the fence grass thins. The dog lowers from stone. It noses each quiet mark. No maker crosses the yard. The yard stays still now.

陽光很亮。暖空氣掠過樹葉。一隻小狗跑進來。小雲漂在屋頂上方。光線落在鬆動的磚塊上。溫暖的灰塵覆著建築牆面。灰塵形成細長的痕跡。小狗停下並嗅聞。

小狗走向草地。牠碰到一條彎曲的樹根。那條樹根擋住低矮視線。小狗爬上一塊石頭。石頭把牠抬得更高。附近有一道罕見的發光污痕。那道污痕捲曲如緞帶。蒼白的腳印沾濕地面。少數鳥飛臨籬笆。籬笆之後草地變稀薄。小狗從石頭跳下。牠依次嗅著安靜痕跡。沒有留下者穿過院子。院子現在依舊靜止。
