He drops small pebbles inside.
One pebble jams the mouth.
Birch shakes; nothing changes.
He slides a long twig through.
The stuck pebble falls down.
Pebbles clink like tiny bells.
"Nice sound," Bea calls.
A kitten pads across grass.
The small animal tilts ears.
Bea claps with quick rhythm.
Birch laughs and shakes again.
Pebbles continue their gentle song.
A pigeon flutters onto the bench.
