Paint Spill Surprise- 適合初級的英語短篇故事

Mia carried a thin box toward the art room. Inside, shiny photos formed her small car poster collection. She wanted to shape a fresh layout for the school magazine. A bright marker pack from her favorite brand rested nearby. She opened the window for light and started arranging prints. Color cards waited for bright borders on the long wooden table.

Sudden wind flipped a page and bumped the marker pack. Markers rolled down, nudged a paint pot, and knocked it sideways. Blue paint splashed across blank paper like narrow twisting streams. Mia paused, then traced the streams with her photo edges. The lines now looked like roads around a tiny city. She slid each car picture onto the roads, section by section. The accident created a special scene brighter than her first plan. When the bell rang, she pressed the new page flat. A friend stepped in and halted, eyebrows rising at the scene. He applauded softly as paint dried into bright smooth paths.
