First, Mia lifts a muddy toy. She carries it outside. She walks across the yard. A blue bucket waits nearby. The sun is warm. She pours clear water in. White soap slides from a bar. Bubbles rise around the rim. She starts to wash it. A striped cat darts past. Its tail bumps the bucket. Water splashes over the grass.

The bucket topples on its side. Mia looks at the empty bucket. She rolls the toy toward soap. A garden hose rests nearby. She twists the shiny tap. Water gushes in fresh arcs. The rushing spray cleans wheels. Foam gathers on the grass. The cat pounces at bright bubbles. It lands inside the spray. Now its fur glitters wet. The cat sits shiny and soaked.
