A tiny bead of sweat rolled down his neck.

Oscar paused and ran his fingertips along the front edge.

One small patch felt warm against his skin.

The heat surprised him, and he could not explain it.

He pressed on the warm spot with his thumb.

The glue inside softened, and the drawer slid free.

Colored sheets rushed forward, falling piece by piece onto tiles.

A loose eraser bounced off a stool nearby.

They formed a bright carpet across the floor.
