Everett sits on the rug.
A round wooden block rolls nearby.
The block bumps his foot lightly.
Everett picks up the block.
He sets it on edge.
The block wobbles and falls.
His sister Nell hears the thud.
She steps into the room.
"Need help?" she asks.
Everett nods and shows the block.
Nell opens a garden picture book.
She slides it under the block.
The page edge makes a ramp.
They roll the block upward.
The block rests against the spine.
It stays upright at last.
Everett lifts both arms in victory.
Nell taps the book to celebrate.
A warm sunbeam crosses the rug.
The round block now stands upright.
