Leo carried a small model bridge into class. He planned to show it during science project. Evening research at home guided every measurement. His notebook stayed open with neat drawings. A helpful builder gave spare wooden sticks yesterday. Leo hoped the group started a quick discussion. They planned the display using cheerful teamwork. Bright paint pots stood beside clean brushes on a tray.

A loose marble suddenly rolled beneath his left shoe. His foot slid forward and brushed the fragile bridge. Glue tipped and stuck papers to floor. Chairs bumped loudly and pens scattered across the tiles. Pages drifted under a nearby table. Students gasped, then hurried around the growing sticky spill. Leo lifted the bridge and carefully checked every rail. Only one thin rail carried a small glue smudge. Sandpaper removed the sticky uneven edge. Classmates gathered pens and gently peeled free damp papers. Their teamwork quickly cleared the colourful floor within minutes. Leo placed the bridge on a wide shelf. Sunlight reached the fresh sticks through high tall windows. He quietly closed his brown notebook again.
