"More cheese?" the grown-up asks.
The child nods.
Small flakes drop into the sauce.
The sauce thickens around the noodles.
The fork turns once more.
Now the noodles stay.
The child winds them neatly.
A corn kernel bumps the shell noodle.
Both pieces ride up together.
The child lifts the tidy swirl.
Sauce drips back through the fork gaps.
