Poppy watches a top spin and slow.
It wobbles on its tip.
An open box sits by the shelf.
A flower sticker rests on its lid.
The lid hangs low across her view.
A soft worm toy sticks half out.
Poppy tilts her head to the side.
She looks back at the top.
It wobbles wider, almost still.
Across the mat, Dana steadies a leaning tower.
One block slides and bumps a small bird.
The bird tips.
Its beak pecks the mat.
"It wiggles a bit," Dana says.
Dust drifts in the light.
The worm toy stays half out.
The open lid stays a little low.
Poppy watches the top wobble again.
