Tatum pushed the cardboard tube across the table.

Cedric set a small fan at one end. They arrived with a backpack of parts. Tatum pulled a cable from the bag and plugged it. Cedric looked up and said, "It is on now."

Air rushed from the fan into the tube. A stream of air lifted two paper flags on sticks. A thin plastic bag at a side hole puffed wide. Cool air brushed their wrists and slipped under sleeves.

The swelling bag raised a taped flap above the hole. The flap opened a second path cut from cardboard. Air rushed through a straw and spun a pinwheel fast. Chalk dust hovered near the vent but stayed outside it. Tatum cupped her ear and said, "Hear that whoosh?"

They made a quick video and tapped playback to check. The pinwheel wobbled and tapped the edge of a cup. Tatum pinched the straw and made a slow bend. The jet thinned, and the pinwheel turned only a little. Cedric held the tube steady and watched the flap quiver. The bag kept puffing and sagging under the bent straw.
