A dew drop forms on its petal.
Seth watches the near lantern.
The blanket edge lifts and drifts.
It hides part of the glow.
He tilts his head slightly.
The grandfather teaches lantern parts now.
He points to cap and base.
"It stays steady," he says.
Seth looks to the next pool.
Lights overlap.
Two soft circles meet and cross.
His hands rest in his lap.
The small box of food sits.
Past the gate, one pool dims.
Its warm ring narrows on the stone.
