She looks through the gate gap.
Low mist drifts through it.
Clover sits by the post.
A dew bead hangs on the latch.
The bench inside looks faint.
She marches two slow steps on the path.
She looks through the post space.
Light slides across the blanket.
A small blueberry dot sits there.
Its edge improves in this light.
A pebble clicks on the stone.
Her head turns to the sound.
She steps to a small grass dip.
Dark soil shows at the base.
Sideways sun makes the blades glassy.
Edges of prints sit on its rim.
She squints through the dip again.
