Nội dung truyện
English Bản gốc
Keira climbed the safe ladder while Greta stood close and steady at the base.
They reached the low deck; a corner pillar stood firm beside the rail.
Keira set thin paper on a floor slat and placed a dry leaf under it.
Her hands moved by habit; she liked to explore the tiny lines in leaves.
The wax crayon slid over the paper, and the wood pressed warm under her knees.
A sweet green smell hung near the railing, and a light breeze cooled her fingers.
The floor gave a small shiver as a passing gust moved across the higher branches.
Then a soft patter rose above them, quick and light on leaves and thin boards.
A cool dot touched Keira's wrist, and another marked the page near the crayon line.
Greta shifted her weight on the deck and held the paper's corner without a word.
Keira kept rubbing, only angled her hand lower and drew closer to the corner pillar.
Drops dotted the page; the edge went damp and turned a little like pulp.
A small surprise came: the dots matched the leaf lines and made a border.
The bucket on the rope tapped the rail once, then stilled, and patter thinned.
Keira lifted the page and blew; tiny beads rolled off and left pale circles behind.
The leaf print stayed speckled, and her sleeve held a cool patch from the short shower.
She set the speckled page by the pillar to dry, while a slow drip marked a slat.
Bản dịch
Greta
Keira
Keira
