Tim opened his craft box after lunch.

He planned to build a small racing car today.

A bright picture on the box showed the final model.

The blueprint rested flat beside a heavy metal ruler.

A slim red planner held spare wheels and glue inside.

Tim fixed the plastic chassis to two shiny axles.

He smiled and walked toward the window for better light.

Small pigeons walk along the balcony rail outside.

A sudden breeze pushed the blueprint across the desk.

The sliding sheet bumped the planner onto the car pieces.

The planner struck the chassis, and the wheels started rolling.

The half-built car fell, hit the floor, and disappeared under shelves.

Tim sighed, closed the window, and dropped to his knees.

His fingers reached under the shelf and found the missing parts.

Without the torn blueprint, he checked the picture again for steps.

He clicked the wheels in place and gave the car a push.

The tiny car darted across the room and tapped the door.

Tim walked after it and lifted it carefully from the mat.
