Her foot touched a silver lever beside her seat.

The camera strap brushed that lever without warning.

The lever tipped forward and rang against a metal panel.

A low click sounded, and the seat rolled backward suddenly.

Mia slipped, dropped the camera, and reached for the armrest.

The camera slid across the floor and hit a red switch.

Panels over the window closed, hiding every bit of light.

Darkness filled the cabin, and quiet spread across the metal.

She touched the board and pressed the nearest green knob.

The shade opened, and bright water poured into view again.

Colored lights from the controls fascinated the octopus outside.
