The wind stops without warning.
The kite drops toward water.
Lily and friends watch, eyes wide.
The kite lands near a bench.
A mother sits there.
She lifts the kite quickly.
A bright ribbon hangs from her bag.
She knots it to the kite.
The ribbon moves like a tail.
Wind pulls the kite upward again.
Lily waves toward the mother.
The kite stays above the field.
