Soft morning light filled the wide hall. Mira carried her small box to a long table. The craft fair filled the community center. She hoped to show her seashell collection during the craft fair. A few chairs scraped as volunteers moved them for community service. Several paint cans waited near the wall. Community center support arrived in those bright cans. The fair leader waved and pointed to an empty spot.

Mira set the box down; the table shook. The table tilted, shells rolled out, and several hit a broom. The broom fell, nudging a paint can. Blue paint splashed across the floor. The mark curved and dipped across the floor. Children gathered, pointing at the bright trail. Mira knelt, then arranged each shell along the fresh blue curve. The fair leader laughed, calling the sudden scene a perfect display. Visitors now followed the bright path beside the wet shine. Mira lifted the bright shell again.
