Nico holds a tall stick. He walks to the river. Tall grass lines the path. A blue bag hangs behind. Inside the bag sits fruit. He visits a patient today. The sun is warm. Bright insects move above water.
A wooden plank spans water. The plank rocks under weight. Nico steps but plank tilts. Fruit rolls to the edge. He drops the tall stick. The stick blocks the fruit. Fruit stops and stays. Nico lifts the fruit again. He crosses in slow steps. Light wind cools his face. The hospital garden is near. Soft chairs wait under trees. His short search finds end. The fruit basket rests inside.
