English 原文
"Slide that vase here." Lars shifted the smooth glass cylinder onto the damp board, cool droplets clinging to his fingertips. The order tag beside him listed sixteen white tulips for a customer who would collect them tomorrow for her brother’s ceremony. Eve had been arranging stems in color-sorted buckets, and the refrigerated display already stood half-empty. One tulip still missed from the bundle. A note had been logged by Finn earlier in the morning, and it had been filed under back stock, so Eve crossed the warm wrapping station and pushed open the storage cooler. The temperature drop pinched her arms, yet the final tulip stayed upright in a rear bucket. She lifted it and hurried back; her elbow brushed a ribbon spool hanging on a peg. The metal core rolled down the slanted shelf, struck a stack of folded tissue, and the tissue slid toward the sink’s edge.
The moving tissue nudged the spray bottle perched beside the faucet; plastic rattled, the bottle tipped, and its loose nozzle knocked the articulate neck of the faucet, twisting the handle open. A thin stream burst out, swept across the steel basin, and spilled onto the board where a dry floral foam block waited. Water soaked the brittle surface, crumbs breaking away and drifting toward the vase. Eve braced herself against the counter, grabbed a spare foam block, and wedged it under the rolling ribbon, halting the tumble. She then turned the slick handle back, slowing the water until only a faint drip remained. Foam fragments floated in a narrow current that circled the drain, gradually losing speed. At the same moment inside the storage cooler, Finn adjusted the temperature dial; chilled air curled through the racks, and a hanging plastic strip swayed inward toward the darker aisle.
