Why does the leaf spin?
Eve sits on the bench.
Morning light touches wet grass.
A bird hops near puddle.
Water rings move round it.
The puddle shows a small step.
A page lifts on the step.
The page turns and settles.
A round idea sketch appears.
Lines drift without clear notion.
The drawing shows a plan.
An ant climbs a stone edge.
Pollen dust waits beside trail.
The trail glints under soft light.
A breeze moves yellow powder.
Powder lands on the sketch.
The page now wears gold dots.
The sibling says, "Pretty dots."
Eve watches the dots spread.
One speck slides over ink.
