Cool air smells like earth.
A black ant circles a puddle.
Its leaf load slips and tilts.
Does it need a bridge?
Tara kneels near the stone path.
She picks a flat stone.
The stone has a rough shape.
Tara starts to build a tiny path.
She slides the stone beside water.
The ant tries to walk forward.
Water still blocks the last step.
She adds one extra small pebble.
Leaf touches stone; a link forms.
The ant crosses and keeps moving.
Tara taps the stone again.
