Peach Rolls Into the Colander on Tile Counter -

English 原文
"The bowl is near the edge."
Gwen slid it toward the center. A clear glass bowl held fruit on the tile counter. She wanted the round peach with the small leaf. Cool air came through the window. At the counter, a small trade took place between them. Gwen passed a fork, and Hugo gave her a cloth.
Gwen stepped on the stool to reach the bowl. One leg caught a line between floor tiles and rocked. Her hip touched the counter and bumped the glass bowl. A damp ring let the bowl slide a little. One peach rolled a short distance and nudged a spoon. The spoon tapped a light cup, and the cup tipped. It spun on the floor and settled by the stool.
Gwen moved fast to the sink side of the counter. She bent low and reached from that new angle. The rolling peach dropped into the colander with a splash. "There it goes now," Hugo said. Clear water splashed up and wet her sleeve and hand. He pointed at the holes and grinned with his teeth. Gwen lifted the peach and set it on a towel. She patted the peach dry with the cloth.
