Shells Stay for a Beach Photo -

English 原文
Cal ran to the edge of the tide.
A small wave washed over his toes and ankles.
It slid back, and the sand turned dry again.
Another wave came and spread a thin sheet of water.
Small shells shifted and tapped each other in place.
A light salt smell sat near the dark rocks.
There was ample wet sand for a small design.
He set five shells in equal gaps on the ground.
A gull made a low swoop over the foam.
Water reached them, and two shells rolled from the line.
Cal slid his camera strap flat across the wet sand.
He drew a shallow ring around the shells with the strap.
The next wash filled the ring and slowed the shells.
The water slid back and left the shells settled.
Roslyn said, "That looks neat, Cal."
He raised his camera and framed the small circle.
He pressed the button, and a photo slid out.
Cal
Cal
