English 原文
Keane sat on his small seat at the table.
A caregiver worked quietly on a second small chalkboard.
A dry wool smell came from the felt eraser.
He wanted to draw a sea map with islands.
He chose blue first; that color was a treat.
A wet bead hung on the eraser's lower edge.
It grew, then fell into the tray with a tap.
Another small bead started to form in the same place.
The drops came again and again, slow and steady.
The wet groove sometimes made the chalk pieces slip.
Keane watched one drop fall and the bead pause.
During the quiet gap, he reached into the tray.
He took the butter yellow chalk in one quick lift.
The short blue stub slid forward along the damp groove.
It bumped the felt, and a tiny drop splashed dust.
A pale puff rose, then settled over the tray lip.
Keane drew the sea, the shore, and three small islands.
He added a little boat with a bright sail.
A stray line crossed the shore, so he erased it.
The felt left a faint blue haze along the path.
He pressed a small X on the nearest island.
Keane
Keane
Keane
