He sets the stack on the ledge.
The ledge is a little wet.
The bottom cup slides.
It slips.
Max wipes the ledge with the damp cloth.
He dabs the dry corner once.
He moves the stack back to the counter.
He picks an important small cup.
He sets it on top.
A soap bubble rises and taps the top cup.
It pops.
The tower wobbles, then holds.
The grown-up says, "Nice stack."
A small bird lands on the ledge.
