Stars Over the Rooftop-

English 原文
Kira balanced a narrow tripod on the chipped concrete of the apartment roof. A small motor on the mount turned slowly, tracking a faint comet predicted to brush the edge of a spring zodiac constellation. The comet’s published brightness had been classified near sixth magnitude, almost invisible to city eyes, yet yesterday a neighbor had boasted it would blaze like a lantern; that claim sounded like pure hyperbole while the red glow of traffic still soaked the sky. She crouched, tightened the focus ring, and waited for a break in the passing haze.
Wind tugged at a laundry line stretched between chimneys. A sleeve slapped the tripod handle, nudging the camera off target. She reset the frame, but the strap caught on a loose brick; the lens cap clattered across pebbled tar, startling three resting pigeons. Their sudden flight fanned the thin cloud layer. Gaps opened overhead, and without a doubt the dim celestial cluster sharpened. Kira pressed the shutter. The mirror snapped; a faint click echoed over rooftop vents.
The preview screen glowed. A pale ring encircled a streetlamp reflection, mimicking textbook images of gravitational lensing even though no galaxy cluster hovered above the roof. She blinked, wiped the glass, and realized the ring came from moisture on the protective filter. She cleaned the surface, realigned the mount, and tried again while the pigeons circled once more, then settled on a farther ledge. This time the comet traced a thin silver arc beside the steady pattern of stars. Above the quiet roof, the constellation rested against a thinning veil of cloud.
