Luca reached the picnic table with bright afternoon light. He planned a tall snack tower for his friends. Slices of banana waited beside grilled zucchini on a plate. A jug of lemonade added cool color near his elbows. Crowds moved around, shaking the long wooden bench. Still, Luca began stacking pieces into a neat column. Sunlight reflected on the shiny fruit and made it look tasty.

As Luca lifted the last banana slice, a soccer ball rolled nearby. It struck the bench leg and made the tower tilt suddenly. Pieces slid downward, knocking the jug, which splashed lemonade across plates. Sticky drops moved over the wood and toward Luca's shoes. He pushed a tray forward, catching the flow before it spread. The sudden stop bounced fruit pieces into a wide smiling shape. Children gasped, then clapped because the new shape looked like a face. Judges from the snack contest walked over and pointed at it. They recorded the display as the most creative entry that afternoon. Luca wiped the table and poured fresh lemonade for everyone. Ice cubes stayed inside the quiet jug.
