Mia jogs on the path.
Cool air moves past her face.
A fast runner passes Mia.
His shoes land loud.
Then a tiny stone rolls.
It bumps Mia's left shoe.
Her key slips from her pocket.
The key slides into a bush.
Mia stops and looks down.
She steps toward the bush.
Green leaves cover the ground.
A quick squirrel darts out.
It pushes the key forward.
Mia gives a quick blink.
Then the key rests near sunlight.
Mia picks the key up.
She places it in her bag.
Warm air surrounds the quiet path.
The path stays still now.
