A thin branch lies across the path.
Miko rides her blue bike.
She sees the branch ahead.
The air is warm.
She presses the small pedal harder.
The front wheel stops suddenly.
Dry leaves spin around slowly.
She steps down from the seat.
Many ants move under the wheel.
She lifts the branch aside.
Sand sticks to her tire.
She begins to walk the bike.
Soft grass lines the side.
A small movement shakes the grass.
A grey rabbit hops out.
Its ears point like tiny leaves.
Miko stops and watches quietly.
The rabbit sniffs the branch.
Then it jumps across the path.
Many tiny prints spot the soil.
Miko waits until it disappears.
She rolls the bike forward again.
The bike stays by the grass.
