Mila steps onto a low stool.
The higher view clears the bush.
The cockatiel flutters onto the page.
Tiny feet press gentle dots.
Mila traces the sudden pattern.
One bright star hangs above still.
She draws the far universe around.
Morning air smells sweet.
The yard is rested now.
