Milo the cat walks forward.
Soft grass bends under paws.
The air is warm.
Sun marks time above.
A low fence runs ahead.
He passes the fence slowly.
A white house stands further.
Shiny tiles cover its roof.
He walks beyond the house.
Tall weeds sway around stones.
A sudden rustle shakes weeds.
A small leaf lands nearby.
Milo turns and walks back.
At the weeds, water drips.
Thin drops darken the soil.
Near the house, light shifts.
A bird sits on roof.
Its wings flutter then still.
Beside the fence, ants gather.
They circle the fallen leaf.
Milo reaches his starting patch.
One tiny ant stays on his paw.
