Mila brought her cousin Leo to the city garden. She hoped to explore a fresh path near the pond. The tall gate stood heavy, but Mila pushed with care. A loose stone rolled, and the metal frame shook hard. The noise startled a young squirrel resting on a branch. The branch bounced and two clay pots slid from a shelf. One pot crashed, scattering soil across the narrow path.

Leo jumped back, then laughed at the small muddy cloud. Mila knelt, lifted the cracked pot, and gathered the soil. Under the loose earth, a tiny green tip appeared. The early bloom opened slowly, bright even in cool air. Visitors walking nearby paused, surprised by the sudden color. Mila placed the pot upright and pressed the soil gently. Water from a small tap helped settle the loose dirt. The path looked clean again, and the garden seemed wonderful. Mila turned the tap handle and closed the flow.
