The grass is bright green.
Cool rain falls in lines.
Each drop shows quick color flashes.
A small bird hops near.
It is a red robin.
The robin lifts wet wings.
It moves toward a low branch.
A gust pushes the branch high.
The gap now looks too wide.
The robin beats wings again.
This time a rock sits closer.
Water slides off the rock.
The robin drops onto it.
Tiny rings spread on puddles.
Feathers shake free bright drops.
Rain softens and slows above.
Light color shifts along wet leaves.
Color returns to still grass.
The robin stays on rock.
