He walks toward the city library.
A public fun run blocks streets.
Runners move past in rows.
Tom stops at the corner.
He needs another clear path.
He turns toward the city museum.
Wide doors slide open for visitors.
A painted animal statue stands inside.
Suddenly the statue begins to roll.
Wheels under it click on rails.
Tom steps back against a pillar.
The rolling shape passes the hall.
A small wagon from the zoo follows.
Space opens between moving displays.
Tom walks through the quiet gap.
He reaches the rear exit.
The library sits across the square.
He crosses and enters the tall building.
The book rests on the desk.
The room stays still now.
