Lina carried a small drawing pad into the trees. Soft morning light filled the small glade. Leaves lay quiet, and no path crossed the grass. She sat near a stump and opened her pencil box. A gentle rabbit hopped between ferns, then stayed still. A tall deer grazed beside a fallen log. Lina wanted to sketch this quiet morning scene. She placed the first line on the white page.

Her pencil slipped from her fingers and rolled downhill. The thin stick struck a loose branch near the stump. The branch bounced up and threw two acorns aside. One acorn tapped the rabbit on its soft ear. The rabbit jumped, and dry leaves flew everywhere. Noise startled the deer; long legs kicked loose stones. Small rocks slid toward Lina’s open paint cup. Green water splashed over the fresh drawing lines.

Lina blinked, then turned the wet page around. The splash looked like a fast moving forest creature. She added ears, paws, and a long waving tail. Colors mixed gently, and the shape became bright and playful. She imagined the creature racing the rabbit through hidden grass. The wet page dried under the slow morning sun. Leaves settled again, and the deer walked back. Lina closed the pad and lifted her empty cup. She walked home with soft footsteps on the path.
