Mia walks along the path. She starts at a small gate. The air is cool. Her eyes look toward the tall tree. She steps forward on soft ground. She reaches a young plant. Its leaves shine with dew. She keeps walking uphill. A low branch blocks her head. She bends under the branch. Now she passes a small house. Smoke rises from its chimney. A bright kite floats above the hill.

Mia turns and walks back. At the house the door shifts open. A small girl waves inside. Mia moves along slowly. Back at the plant, a beetle crawls. The tall tree shows fresh buds. Mia reaches the gate again. A loose feather stays on the gate.
