Mia walks along the school hall. The hall is cool. She finds a low window. She looks through the window. A yellow bus waits outside. Posters about a trip hang. Glare from glass blocks her view. She lifts her hand for shade. The view clears at once.
Mia walks to a garden door. A thin gap runs beside hinges. She leans and looks inside. An old house stands beyond flowers. Curtains move in quiet wind. She steps toward the next door. The door has a round window. She peers through the round glass. An animal sits inside the classroom. It blinks under a fallen chart. Dust around the chair stays still.
