The Burst of Seeds-

English 原文
Metal lids clanged inside a crate when Greta nudged it aside. She climbed the narrow ladder stool, toes pressing the thin rung, and reached for a wide cardboard box on the highest shelf. The box stored seed packets and small metal trowels for the community garden next door; people used them to grow vegetables behind the center. A faint cardboard smell mixed with cool concrete air, and pale dust swirled through a lone strip of light from the vent above. Greta eased the box forward, but the weight pulled against her palms and the rough edge scraped her sleeves. She aimed to sort the packets so the group could cultivate fresh beds before spring.
Below her, a low supply cart stood on tiny wheels, forgotten after yesterday’s delivery. A cracked plastic crate sat on the cart, crammed with odd souvenirs—a folded city map once carried by a tourist, faded key rings, and a plush monkey with stitched cymbals. The floor sloped almost invisibly toward the back wall, and the cart began to roll centimetre by centimetre. Its wheels picked up momentum; a broom leaning nearby trembled as the cart brushed past. Greta, still balancing on the stool, did not notice the quiet travel of metal on concrete. Each jolt of the cart shook the crate, and the monkey wobbled forward until only its tail kept it aboard.
The next jolt sent the cart into a leg of the ladder stool. The light frame slid, and Greta lurched sideways. The cardboard box slipped from her grip, struck the crate, and burst open; colorful packets fanned out, then rained down like soft cards. The plush monkey flew free, hit the floor, and skidded across spilled seeds. Greta hopped down fast, blocking further slide with her knee, while the cart bounced once and lost a wheel—a reminder that the bargain wheels came from a clearance bin. She stacked the box fragments against the wall and gathered the packets into a tray. Dust fell slowly through the beam above. A loose wheel tapped the back wall and stayed motionless.
