Breeze Against Paper Wings-

English 原文
A frost-white paper plane lay nose-first in the damp grass, tail skewed, inviting Kent to find the reason. He lifted it, and the nose crease opened with a faint crack, revealing a tiny inward kink. A speckled magpie on the steel-grey fence tilted its head, watching as moisture trickled along the exposed fold. He reached the folding bench, where the target circle had been drawn by Dina, pale dust streaking the smooth surface. Choosing a fresh sheet, he aligned the fibre direction with subtlety, hoping the sharper crease would resist loosening. The ribbon tied to the wind stick hung nearly still, so he decided on a straightforward, slim level glider design. He had folded, pinched, and pressed until edges aligned, then strode uphill, the magpie hopping behind like curious inventory. The plane left his hand cleanly, but a stray gust caught the light craft and forced an early, spiralling rise.
Halfway toward the circle, the plane swung left, ignoring his careful alignment, and landed inside a shadow bank. When Kent reached it, dampness had crept along the belly, softening one wing until fibres began to mingle. He tried rolling the edge tighter, yet the soggy paper tore, creating a tangle near the small trailing corner. Only two sheets remained on the bench, and the ribbon now flicked east, showing a crosswind the hilltop masked. Leaving the tools behind, he rotated his shoulders and launched the next plane higher, slightly into that shifting air. If he aimed just right, the gentle lift might balance the extra drop caused by a lighter, unclipped nose. The magpie fluttered to the fence rail again, feathers ruffling as the craft glided on a gleaming silver diagonal. Kent counted the aftermath: three blank sheets, one unused clip, and a ruler dusted with chalk along its edge.
