Wanda stands near the bench.
She carries her vet kit.
The air is warm.
She searches for her toy deer.
She steps to the railings.
A slim gap waits ahead.
She bends and peers through.
Sun flashes on calm water.
Bright ripples dance over blue.
The toy deer lies on stone.
The glare hides small details.
Wanda walks to the hedge.
A round gap opens inside.
She lowers and peers again.
The view shows a distant lake.
A toy tiger sits beside.
A red ball touches it.
"There you are," she says.
She counts toys through leaves.
The yellow leaf now lies still.
