A twig rests beside her.
She picks one flat pebble.
She sets the pebble down.
She adds one piece of bark.
The bark slides and falls.
Faye presses the bark harder.
Dew makes the bark slick.
Max walks from the pond.
He offers a small acorn.
"The acorn may fit," he says.
Faye sets the acorn part on top.
The pebble stands steady now.
She leans a twig wall.
A tiny house takes shape.
Sunlight flickers over the bench.
Warm bench wood now holds the house.
