A bright sun spot sits on a plastic car.
Under the sun, the spot fades.
Dust drifts.
Light shifts.
Blocks fill the rattling box.
A picture on it shows a green park.
A stuffed fox wears a small scarf.
York sits by a leaning tower.
Their hand steadies the top block.
York battles a stuck lid.
The lid pops.
Thea frowns and tilts her head.
"It is small now," she says.
She looks back at the damp spot.
It is thinner than before.
Dark turns to faint gray.
Only a pale oval remains on the mat.
