The line fades in grass.
She parts the grass with a short stick.
A blue tip peeks from the green.
A pen lies in the grass.
Ink dots the stone near it.
She taps the tip, slow.
Blue ink makes a small track.
On the back step, the older sibling draws.
A page lifts in the breeze.
"It is blue ink," the older sibling says.
Her cheeks blush pink in the sun.
Liora sets the pen on the step.
Peeling paint flakes under the pen.
A pale circle stains the wood.
A small bird zips over the fence.
