A flat sheet shines suddenly.
It looks like thin glass.
She bends near but pauses.
The layer breaks without sound.
Under it, dry sand collapses.
No object causes the break.
She unfolds the towel slowly.
She lays it beside traces.
The fabric touches only clean sand.
Warm air brushes her hair.
Waves roll but stay steady.
The quiet beach stays still.
