Foam slides back across sand.
Warm light covers wet shells.
Harris walks near a tide pool.
A round pebble shines beside driftwood.
He crouches and taps it.
The pebble stays under tight sand.
Harris leans, pulls with his fingers.
Sand grips and resists his tug.
Fraser watches and grips a stick.
"I can help!" says Fraser.
He slides the flat stick under.
Tiny bubbles follow the moving wood.
Wet grains loosen and fall.
The pebble tilts then wriggles.
Two small eyes lift up.
The round shell belongs to a turtle.
Its legs paddle into shallow water.
A silver fish darts beside it.
The turtle and fish drift away.
Harris and Fraser laugh on the sand.
Two blue kayaks park near them.
Harris walks up the boardwalk.
