Leo walks to the yard. The sun is warm. He carries a small plate. His simple plan is clear. He wants seed under the tree. He pours tiny brown seeds. A quick wind starts to move them. Seeds roll across short grass. Leo runs left and right. He gathers the rolling seeds. Wind gives no pause. More seeds slide away.

Leo places a flat stone. The plate now stays steady. A bright bird drops down. The bird hops around seeds. Its quick wings beat dust. Seeds jump beyond the plate. The bird pecks for more. The flat stone tips over. The plate turns and spins. Seeds cover Leo again. Leo stands very still. The bird lifts and flies. The plate lay still.
