Kids shout near the pond.
Anna lifts the cap slowly.
A yellow flower slips out.
The petals touch the grass.
A sudden bark breaks silence.
A small puppy runs over.
The puppy grabs the flower.
It races around the tree.
Anna stands and follows quickly.
A boy appears, chasing too.
He jumps up and down, excited.
He calls, but voice cracks.
The puppy hears and stops.
Leaves shake above the group.
The boy pets the puppy gently.
Anna sets the cap down.
Anna passes the flower back.
The park stays quiet again.
