Leo set his sketchpad on warm sand near tide.

He planned to draw the old boardwalk for class project.

A gentle wave slid forward but stopped before his shoes.

He knelt and started quick lines across the bright white page.

A ranger walked along the beach and nodded once without speaking.

Leo smiled and kept drawing the distant wheel and bright stalls.

A sudden stronger wave rushed up and soaked the lower sand.

The water lifted his bag; a rubber octopus slipped outside.

The toy rolled downhill, bumped a shell, and hit his ankle.

He lost balance; the sketchpad flipped and scattered loose papers.

Wind lifted the pages and moved them over wet earth patches.

Leo chased them; one sheet floated toward the ranger’s boot.

The ranger bent, grabbed the page, and laughed at the mess.

A colorful ink splash on the paper now looked like a hero.

Leo blinked twice and leaned closer; the shape was clear.

He kept the hero picture and stored other papers in the bag.

Wind calmed; water slid back; sand stayed darker but steady.

Leo placed the octopus beside the page and closed the bag.

他收好這張英雄圖，把其他紙放回背包。

風平浪靜，海水退去，沙面依舊偏暗。

Leo 將章魚玩具放回紙旁，拉上背包。
