The Stone That Rolled- 適合初學者的英語短篇故事

Mina sits in the park. The sun is warm. Four flat stones stay nearby. One stone shows a dolphin. One stone shows a fish. The other two are blue. Mina picks the dolphin stone. She places it far left. Mina lifts the fish stone. She places it far right. She grabs a plain stone. Wind pushes it away suddenly. The stone rolls under bench. Mina kneels and her hand dives. Her fingers catch the stone. She sets it near middle. A small pond is close. A golden fish swims inside. Water ripples at the edge. She adds the last stone. The four stones stood in line.

米娜坐在公園裡。陽光很溫暖。她身旁擺著四塊平坦的石頭。一塊石頭上畫著海豚。一塊石頭上畫著魚。其餘兩塊是藍色的。米娜拿起海豚石頭，放到最左邊。她再拿起魚石頭，放到最右邊。接著她抓起一塊普通石頭，突然一陣風把它吹走，石頭滾到長椅下。米娜跪下，伸手探入椅下，抓回那塊石頭，放在中間。旁邊是一個小池塘，一條金色的魚在裡面游，水面輕輕起伏。最後她放上最後一塊石頭。四塊石頭排成一列，靜靜地佇立著。
