Joel is in a quiet garden.
The air is warm.
A vast lake shines nearby.
Four round stones lie beside him.
Each stone has a curious stripe.
He lines them up now.
He picks the first stone.
It is small and smooth.
He places it on the tray.
The second stone is larger.
It fits beside the first.
The third stone is wet.
It slips from his hand.
The stone drops into soft grass.
He lifts it again carefully.
A towel is near enough.
He dries the wet stone.
Now it stays in his grip.
He sets it on the tray.
The last stone is tiny.
It slides beside the others.
The four stones make a line.
The line stays straight now.
